Pay your taxes through Crane Bank
There is good news for our customers who are involved in business, especially import business. URA customs duties can now be paid through Crane Bank at any of our branches in Kampala, Jinja and Mbale by cash or cheque. With our branches already receiving payments for electricity, water and school fees, we are increasing our convenience to our customers even more.

2007 - a historic year, 2008 - year of growth
The financial year 2007 was a historic year for Crane Bank. We registered our highest ever profits since inception in 1995, profit before tax increasing to Ug.sh 25.1 billion from Ug.sh 15.4 billion in 2006 resulting in an increase by 62.61%. The profit after tax increased to Ug.sh 18.75 billion from Ug.sh 12.5 billion in 2005 resulting in an increase by 50.55%. This year we shall be expanding even further with four more branches to be opened in Mbarara, Hoima, Kabale and Arua. This expansion will help us consolidate on the success we achieved last year .

Crane Visa – POS deployment
The message of convenient banking with Crane Bank gets even better with the news that we have now deployed over 100 Point Of Sale Visa machines at key merchant locations across the country. This means that even without physical cash, our customers can settle bills and purchase goods. With a Crane Visa electron debit card our customers can purchase goods in supermarkets, pay for air tickets, buy goods on the internet, settle hotel bills and effect payment for many other services via P.O.S terminals at merchant locations. Crane Royale continues to grow
It’s only two months since our Crane Royale executive banking wing was opened but we already have many signed up members who are enjoying customer service only fit for a king or service with a royal touch. Situated on second floor of our Crane Chambers , members are given personalized customer service as they are being taken care of by dedicated customer advisors. The unique attractive ambiance adds to the pleasurable banking experience while the special conference room gives an opportunity to members to hold their own independent business meetings at their convenience .

Working hours extend from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am – 3:00 pm on Saturdays. Our 24 hour call centre is also dedicated to members convenience.
A membership application form is available for new members where a membership fee of 40,000/= is applicable on a monthly basis.

Crane Bank – Bank of the Year Uganda 2007
We are extremely happy to be recognized by the Banker once again as emerging markets bank of the year 2007 in Uganda for the fourth time. Crane Visa – POS campaign
After rolling out very successfully with the Crane Visa Electron card, Crane Bank has extended our Visa services further for greater convenience to our customers by launching a merchant Point Of Sale (POS) visa campaign in the market place. Our customers can now make purchases at merchant locations without carrying cash, pay for services and even withdraw cash at business points. Selected hotels, supermarkets, tour & travel firms, restaurants, clubs, hospitals now have Crane Bank POS Visa terminals to facilitate this innovation.

Crane Royale Operational
The Crane Bank new executive wing… Crane Royale, on the second floor of Crane Chambers is now fully operational. Crane Royale offers a more personalized service with dedicated customer advisors in an exclusive banking environment enriched with a unique attractive ambiance to make banking a pleasurable experience. There are no queues or bureaucracies, only instant service. There is also a special conference room where Royale customers can hold their own independent business meetings at their convenience. The service offers strategic business networking opportunities as well.

A membership application form is available for new members and a membership fee of 40,000/= is applicable on a monthly basis. Banking hours have also been extended from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm on week days and from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturdays.
